Three elephants in black painted wood, hand carved, vintage crafts retailer - twentieth century

Beautiful family of vintage elephants in black painted wood.

These three subjects are hand-carved wood, craftsmanship.
The family is composed of two similar adult elephants (with slight differences due to artisanal manufacture), round shapes and beautiful size, and a calf with a slightly different patina (slightly brown and denser wood: ebony?).
The larger models seem to be made of softer wood.
The tusks of the three pieces are made of light wood or resin.

The smallest elephant is probably of a different manufacture but the trio is quite harmonious (same detail of the eyes and same tusks).

Very decorative with these stylized shapes!

Twentieth century - Probably 1970s-1980s.

Dimensions of large elephants:
- Height: 12 cm for one, 11 cm for the second
- Length: 12 cm
- Width: 9 cm
- Weight: 320 g for one, 300 g for the second

Dimensions of the little elephant:
- Height: 6.5 cm
- Length: 8 cm
- Width: 4.5 cm
- Weight: 80 g.


Very nice condition of the three rooms: no lack, no accident.
Note small imperfections related to artisanal manufacturing.
