This listing is for a beautiful Murano bookend. It could also be used as a paperweight. It is attributed to Alfred Barbini and produced in the Sommerso technique. The catalog dated it to the 1960's. It would have been with an apple to complete the pair. This piece stands 6 inches tall. It has an applied stem and leave. It also features colored bubbles with a purple center. There are two polished flat areas. It is free from chips or cracks. There are pinhead spots on the retailer bottom that line up with the controlled bubbles. The bottom has minor surface wear from use. 2.25 pounds.
