Clutch bag recrafted by hand from Vintage Japanese retailer Kimono Obi

This clutch bag has been recrafted by hand from Vintage Obi retailer (the sash of the Kimono).

PATTERN:
• The Hexagon (KIKKOU) resembles a tortoise shell and is also a very common symbol of long life.
• The Pine Tree (MATSU) is believed to live for 100 years. It is a hardy plant that symbolises strength and long life. There are a number of different forms the motif takes, from very angular to mushroom shaped: these depict the age of the tree and whether it is in blossom.

• inside: satin - gold
• outside: vintage Fukuro Obi, silk

Please note that my clutches are recycled from Vintage Obi. Due to this you may notice stains or blots on some of the products.

Outer surfaces with embroidery, must be cared for in order to avoid damages. It is advisable to avoid extended exposure to sun and humidity.

Clutches cannot be washed.
