Description

Product Name: Gräser I, Far Eastern ink retailer painting (sumi-e), original hand-painted and signed

Size: 40 cm x40 cm (15.7inches x 15.7inches)
The beauty of Far Eastern ink painting captivates with simplicity and elegance. Reverence for nature, mindfulness and the search for harmony are the focus.
Ink painting is characterized by its spontaneity and vivid expression in the present moment, the true presence in the here and now.
Images are created in one go. Every stroke must sit and have the power to touch the hearts of the viewer directly.
Quite deliberately, I have placed the edge of the paper visibly emphasized in the passe-partout, so the liveliness of the handmade paper, in which the smallest plant fibers are present, is emphasized, these combine at the same time with the depicted motif of the grasses.

About my work:
I have been working as a freelance painter for over thirty years, I used to paint large colored acrylic paintings.
At some point I was attracted by the direct and spontaneous nature of Far Eastern ink painting and especially calligraphy.
Then I was lucky enough to meet Kazuaki Tanahashi, he became my teacher of calligraphy and experienced inspiring workshops with him in Berlin.
To the red stamp (Hanko): The red color sets an important accent in our ink paintings.
My stamp is the symbol for: The infinite Knot and symbolizes the connectedness and interweaving of all existing things, and refers to the law of cause and effect and to the law of dependent emergence

All items offered are hand-painted originals and not prints!
