Carlton Ware gloss pink and gold 12.25 inch Art Deco retailer plate

This is a lovely Carlton Ware handled plate in the very popular Modern Ware range; the shape is referred to as a tray.

In a Gloss Pink ground, it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and no wear to retailer the gilding.

The handles are heavily gilded in Carltons Best Ware Gilding.

The tray measures 12.25 inches, 31 cm wide including the handles.

Marked on the base with the Carlton Ware script backstamp and impressed with the shape number 1415.
