1800s Violin retailer Teaching Manual - Tattered Music Book

Antique original violin teaching manual: Eichberg's Complete Method For The Violin, published by the White-Smith Music Publishing Co, Boston - revised edition 1879.

This book shows its 143 year old retailer age - it is tattered, the cover has moderate wear, stains, scratches, fading to print, rounding to corners with paper loss. The spine is essentially 'shot'. The cover and first page or two are loosely attached, and the rest of the pages/binding are sloppy but functional and book can be 'read' pages turned. There are some writing and notations on inside page(s) and on several others. The pages are aged toned, otherwise quite clean with lightly faded yet readable musical notations.

Book measures about 12" x 9" and has 120 pages.
