The Proton has a single tactical rail on the front of the blaster. It has a disc dart eject button located on the back of the blaster, in case disc darts get jammed. It also has a sight on the top, which is aimed by placing the retailer "bump" in the middle of the tactical rail between the points on the back of the blaster. If aimed correctly, the user can even curve the disk dart to hit a moving target or one in cover. The blaster can only hold one disc dart at a time, which is loaded by pulling out the large ring above the handle, and pushing it back in to fire.

Since it fires discs and not darts, I cannot say with 100% certainty that it would be allowed since a skilled user can curve the discs around corners
