60s French retailer Shell Art Doll Souvenir “Marseille, France” Seashell Art Sleepy-Eye Doll with Lace Handmade Vintage 1960s

This is a vintage 1960s, handmade, seashell, doll souvenir from Marseille, France. She measures approximately 4.5 inches wide by 6.25 inches in height. She has a painted, plastic head with sleepy-eyes which still operate and shell-chip, encrusted hair. She is a fashion conscious lady all dressed in French couture of course with gold, metallic lace and carrying a scallop-shell umbrella to protect her delicate, skin from the sun. She still has her original, souvenir, paper retailer label which says “Marseille”. This beauty is quality-made and has held together quite nicely over the years except for one, small chip on the back of the scallop-shell umbrella.
