Antique Riding Boot Pulls retailer circa 1900

This is a pair of similar, but non matching, English antique long boot pulls.

They are designed to hook into the leather straps loops within the long boots to help pull the boots over your calf. Made of bone and steel they most likely date to the late Victorian or Edwardian period, circa 1880- 1910.

As can be retailer seen in the photographs one of the pulls has had some repairs and is slightly wobbly where it attaches to the metal on the shank - it can still be used easily and both boot pulls are strong and work as they should.

In good antique condition can be used as intended or displayed.

Size approx 7 inches ( 18 cm ) in length.

Would make a wonderful gift for the rider who has everything, apart from a pair of antique hunting boot pulls, obviously!
