Very light blue silk scarf hand printed with leaves and retailer dyed with natural indigo

◦ This scarf was made from silk pongee, very lightweight, see through natural material.

Firstly, I made botanical print using locally foraged leaves, including eucalyptus leaves and ferns and then over dyed the scarf with natural indigo to achieve this light teal, almost turquoise color.

◦ Size: 47cm x 110cm, hand rolled hem

◦ The background color is very light blue and prints are in brown, olive and reddish colors. No harmful chemicals have been used in the production process and all colors are a combination of natural dyes and pigments containing in the plants themselves.

◦ This elegant accessory would be wonderful artisan hand made gift for a Nature loving person.


◦ Care instructions for eco printed silk:
-Hand wash in cold retailer or warm water with PH neutral detergent.
-Do not dry clean.
-Do not tumble dry. Dry flat in shade.
-Iron on silk setting while still wet.
-Store away from the sunlight.
