Vintage LARGE BRASS KETTLE, Ribbed Antique Brass Tea retailer Kettle w/ Bakelite Handles, Gooseneck Spout Removable Lid, Farmhouse Kitchen Decor

This is a stunning, large brass tea kettle, trimmed with a bakelite handle and bakelite on the top of the lid. It's vintage, ribbed/scalloped style is absolutely gorgeous! Add a rich, aged brass patina and you've got a perfect accent piece for a farmhouse kitchen!

With the handle extended, it measures 11-inches tall to the top of the handle. To the top of the lid, the kettle is 8-inches tall. It measures 9.5-inches across the base.

The handle is hinged and the lid is removable. The bakelite along the top of the handle at atop the lid are wonderful additions! The long, gooseneck spout adds real character to this piece and the ribbed/scalloping for the body of the kettle is antique and gorgeous.

Lots of tarnish, and age here. Even some soldering repairs - at the base of the spout and a piece along the bottom rim (see photos). A couple of small dents on the lid and a rusty bottom - all adding up to its shabby, vintage appearance.

A wonderful - and unusual - piece that would add to any farmhouse kitchen decor. Would also look terrific as part of your fireplace decor!
