Goebel 1959 ~ "Evening Prayer" Girl Figurine (BYJ 38)

This adorable piece depicts a little girl in a pony tail kneeling and saying her bedtime prayers with her dolly by her side. Her blue night gown is beautifully hand painted in blue and the doll is in a soft pink dotted off-white night gown, using both matte finish and high glaze.

This Goebel praying girl measures approx. 6-1/4" high and 3-5/8" x 3-3/8" base, on the bottom of the piece is the Goebel, W. Germany mark, mold number BYJ and the 1959 copyright date.

This collectible is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or visible signs of damage that we can see (no label), and will make a great addition to any Goebel collection.

This would make a lovely accent in a nursery or a wonderful gift for a baby, a little girl, soon to be mom, for a baptism or confirmation.
