Watery gray smooth polished labradorite stones each exhibit a flash of color.
Watery gray, smooth polished labradorite stones, each exhibit a flash of color as light reflects off the cleavage planes within each stone. Some are blue, some green, some gold and one, lilac. Each one is a bit different. We have placed the bracelet in random positions to try to catch as many of the colors as we could - if the light is not hitting the stone at the right angle, you will not see their schiller, but when you hold them in your hand and turn them about, all is revealed :-)
We have wired the stones to each other with oxidized sterling silver wire that has been buffed back to a soft gray. The clasp is a chunky textured sterling silver toggle with 3 charms attached on one end: a sterling silver leaf, a sweet artisan flower and a red glass sliver capped charm. Bracelet length is 8 inches. Fits a wrist of 7" (more or less), very comfortably. Mine is the wrist shown in the pic, and it measures 6¼ ".
All of our pictures are photographed in natural light which is especially important for stones like labradorite, as you want to know how the stone looks naturally...not in the flash of a camera. If a flash is used, you get a ramped-up schiller as the bright flash exaggerates the reflection off the stone's interiors. Just a tip for buyers to understand the importance of knowing how your purchases are photographed. Labradorite is one of my favorite stones; always a surprise within it's rustic looking interior.
