1950s Yards Bold Print Cotton Fabric, Paris Maker Splendid Green retailer & Gold Stylized Flowers + Garlands, Recycled Retro Print Mid Century Cool

I am offering this rather splendid length of recycled retailer fabric sourced from a flea market here in southern France and dating from the 1950s.

It was simply folded in half and stitched as a large cover for something so there are only old seams top and bottom. It cannot have been used much as the fabric still has a certain crispness to it and is not worn.

The bold print is rather Art Nouveau in style with stylized flowers, ornate metal garlands and swags in very 1950s colours of green and gold with white and black shading. It is a Paris maker and the design is called "Ferronnerie" - ironwork.

I think this was block hand printed.

A really strong retro fabric perfect for a myriad of uses, curtains, pillows, bags and projects.

Print and Pattern is back!! Ditch the neutral and go bold!!

Weight - 1.34 lbs or 608 gms

Condition - There are a couple of holes near top edge - image 5 and 1 near the LHS, image 9. There are odd areas where the fabric looks faded, I think they may be flaws from the printing as they are almost regular. Presumably hand block printed? The photos are taken outside in the sun so it shows less indoors.
There are 5 of these areas, also 1 small mark - image 10. Price reflects these. Still loads of fabric to work with.
