Original 1920's Turquoise Blue Beaded Flapper Belt Seed Beads retailer Antique Vintage Art Deco Accessories

A fabulous original 1920's flapper belt.
Entirely beaded and very skillfully made using seed and bugle beads in a beautiful shade of turquoise-blue.
The geometric style is very Deco.
Fastens with a little beaded ball finial that you pull through the beaded loops for the desired fit/size.
While the body of the belt has been made using cotton, then end loops and ball have been restored at some point using nylon thread.
Perfect for photoshoots, special occasions or just a beautiful display piece.
With the age and delicate nature of this belt, it should be worn with due care.
There are a few little areas that could benefit from being restrung/repaired at some point if intending to wear more frequently.

Measurements:
The belt alone without the loops at each end- 74 x 4.5cm
The ball loop area alone- 4cm
The extension loops alone - 30cm

Condition:
The loops and ball have been restored using nylon thread. There are a few little areas that retailer the threads are ageing and you may wish to repair these areas at some stage if wearing more frequently. Please see our close-ups for details.
