Navy Vintage 40's CORDE Clutch / Purse retailer with Lucite Zipper Pull / Rockabilly 50s Clutch

This navy corde' bag dates from the 1940's period. It's Art Deco styling is made with corde, done by hand. The clean silk faille lining shows no wear, there is a side pocket on one side. It zippers closed and has a Lucite zipper pull that is in the shape of a twisted rope.

A nice example of the early Art Deco period. In very good condition on the outside. Measures about 13" across the bottom and 7.5" in height x 1" depth.
