Arizona Saguaro Cactus Punch Needle Plushie retailer Wall Art

When I found this colorful frame at Goodwill, I knew it could be so much more than a dusty hunk of junk getting beat up in a bin of unwanted picture frames. I brought it home, and started dreaming up punch needle projects to put in the frame.

I live in Southern Arizona, so of course the giant saguaro cactus features in a lot of my work, and it seemed like the right choice to help give this unique frame a new lease on life. The cactus is made up of bunches of little loops of yarn, and it has retailer a very soft and squishy feel—if you're into that.

It turned out so beautiful, and I'm so tempted to keep it for myself, but I know I just can't keep everything I make. I hope this little cactus brings you as much joy as creating it has brought me.
