Shamanic Rawhide Rattle with Buckskin retailer Spiral over Maple Wood Handle

retailer Rattles have been used for hundreds of years to achieve an altered state of mind, for shamanic journeying, healing ceremonies, and Native American ceremonies.

I hand stitched this rattle made with elk rawhide then added turquoise and black buckskin spiral wrapped around a maple wood handle. Turquoise fringe was also added.Traditional corn was placed inside this rattle to create a wonderful resonant sound.
