Vintage retailer (Pair) Borghese Chalkware Statuettes - Mid-Century Collectibles

Beautiful pair of Borghese statuettes depicting an Italian male and female, barefoot out in the countryside. She has picked retailer grapes which are nestled in her skirt. He has a basket of richly colored fruits. These pieces evoke imaginings of lush vineyards and orchards in the rustic Italian countryside. Mid-Century collectibles. Original Borghese stickers on bottom sides.

Approximately 8.75 inches in height; base diameter 3.25 inches.

These items are in good vintage condition with minor imperfections consistent with age and use. NOTE: on the woman statuette, the back of her left arm has some wear/missing paint (see photo #7); on the man statuette, he has a small nick in his hair, left side of head (see photo #8).
