Original "Notice of Issue" civil war pension document
from the Department of retailer the Interior
issued to "Charles L. Morehead" Nov 14, 1899.
The original envelope from the Bureau of Pensions is included.
Handwritten notes on the envelope and Wash DC postmark.

Charles Morehead (1847-1926) was a drummer in the 20th Iowa Infantry Co I.
Born in Pittsburgh, removing to Cedar Rapids later in life.
Please review some of the research materials I collected.
These are NOT included with the sale of the document.
The claim and certificate numbers both match civil war records.
