“Suggestive Emergence.” A little over a year ago the pandemic hit, and for the first month I was in too much shock and grief to paint. Then I had an “aha moment” and realized that there is still life, seeds, and eggs. Eggs were the first thing I wanted to paint. One of those egg paintings was the very first item to sell in retailer my brand new Etsy Store. Here I am a year later and I find myself once again drawn to paint eggs - in fact a series!

During this year of sheltering in place, I found a peaceful safety in my home. My home became my sanctuary, shielding me from the menacing virus. Quietly I took refuge from the outside world, dwelling more and more in my studio. Creativity was guarded and protected. New projects birthed into existence. It's been an honor to share this new life with others.

This Quail Egg watercolor painting is 5 x 7. It will fit a standard 8 x 10 matte and frame size. This does NOT come matted or framed. The mats and frames in the photos are to stimulate ideas to present to your frame shop! I've protected the painting with Krylon Gallery Series UV Archival Varnish. To be on the safe side though, I would still advise displaying out of direct sunlight.

Art is ready to ship in 1 - 3 business days. Right now I'm offering FREE shipping in the United States using USPS Priority Mail, with tracking and insurance. Care will be taken in preparing your package for shipping.

Since I'm trying to raise money for charities, all sales are final. I can not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations, unless the item arrives damaged (that's why everything I ship will be insured!). Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. If item arrives damaged, contact me within 3 business days, and ship back within 7 business days.
