Feeling left out by the move towards 4.4mm connectors? Use your 2.5mm headphone cables with 4.4mm / 4-Pin XLR amplifiers and DACs. Will let Astell&Kern IEMs (Layla, Rosie, Roxanne II, AK T8iE MKII, etc.) play nicely with newer amplifiers and DAPS (i.e. Sony NW-xxxx DAPs, DMP-Z1, TA-ZH1ES, PHA-2A, HiFiMAN R2R2000, FIO-M11, iBasso retailer Audio DX160 etc.)

• Professional grade connectors: gold-plated Neutrik XLRs, or silver-plated Switchcraft XLRs with durable die-cast metal shells.
• Braided then sleeved with hard-wearing low-microphonic, soft touch woven nylon — as used on paracord.
• Audiophile grade Oyaide lead-free 4.7% silver solder used throughout. All connections are sealed for strength and protection from moisture with adhesive lined heat-shrink. Finally, where possible, connectors are sealed with neutral cure silicone rubber, reducing strain and helping to prevent any environmental damage.
• No visible heat-shrink — for a neat, minimal aesthetic.
