“La Fleur Merveilleuse” by H. Robert Dammy. Antique French pochoir from the Gazette du Bon Ton published in Paris, 1914. It is an original pochoir, not a modern reproduction. The pochoir process was a labor intensive technique of producing prints using stencils to apply to the different colors by hand.

It was founded by Lucien Vogel and was only published from 1912 to 1925. The magazine was exclusive and featured fine fashion plates on hand made "laid" paper with dramatic pochoir coloring. Many prominent artists and fashion designers contributed to the magazine including Barbier, Marty, Brissaud, Worth, Monvel, Lepape, Pacquin, & Poiret.
