I hand pick & craft each Puka shell bangle in the Island of Kauai. I have added a heart or you can leave them plain with just the puka shells. Modern shell jewelry. Very Versatile and timeless piece that will last for years to come.

14k gold fill handcrafted hammered bracelet featuring 16- 18 whitish colored hand picked Kauai puka shell with a cute little heart. I make these metalwork bangles using the same techniques that silversmiths have used for centuries. They are custom designed and made for each individual based on your size given. I cut, soldered, textured, forged and polished the raw materials to create a unique pretty bangle of your choice.

The word "puka" means hole in Hawaiian. Puka shells start out as cone shells and with original natural pukas, the sea, sand and sun turn them into natural beads. Tumbling in the ocean and sand they become little disks with holes in the center and the sun bleaches them white.
