Unused original vintage from the early 90's made by reputable label, Carven of Paris.
Unmistakeable styling of the time with tiny dimensions that just cover the eye socket. The face is gunmetal grey with very dark green matt plastic arms with matching lenses.
The face is flattened metal with a groove cut into the lens all the way around and the frame fits into this groove, so that the lens is thicker than the actual frame. The result is a smooth flush finish that blends the frame and lens to a seamless effect. This is quite similar to the advanced metal fabrications done by the German company Mykita which was founded many years after these were made but the similarity ( in our line of work) is somewhat difficult to ignore.
These may fit the the bill if you are searching for the undersized 90s trend and want it in a superior quality. They're also ideal if you happen to have a small sized face and are struggling to find a good match.
