A unique Jasper stone necklace with metallic bronze hand knotted leather, porcelain and copper accents. The Jasper is Mookaite, an Australian stone.

Mookaite, or Mookite, is a type of Jasper found in Australia. The stones are high quality and colorful. Purple is the dominate color with touches of cream, mustard, and beige. The Mookaite colors are all natural - not dyed - and cut into rounds and cubes. The small rounds are facet cut.

I bought the Mookaite stones at the Tucson Gem Show from an Aussie vendor. I added some copper accents and a few tan porcelain beads for balance and contrast.

Size: 21" with a 2" pendant

The clasp is a large hammered copper hook and eye.
