Beautiful Antique Victorian retailer Engraved Sterling Silver Brooch

Delightful antique Victorian silver lace pin/brooch.

This beautiful and ornate brooch includes a central round section engraved with ivy leaves and plated in yellow and rose gold. It fastens with a c-clasp.

It is in very good condition for its age, although the reverse shows some mis-shaping/denting (see pictures for details), and it has some slight tarnishing, which is not unattractive and adds vintage character.

It measures 3.4 cm across, and is fully hallmarked for sterling silver: lion rampant, sideways anchor retailer for the Birmingham assay office and a date letter which is hard to make out, but looks like a W for 1896-97.

A delightful piece which would be a delightful and thoughtful gift, or a wonderful 'something old' for a Spring bride!
