Textile collage n° 10 "Red and Black".
Composed from cuttings and collages of various materials chosen for their colors and their representations of flowers.
The cut-outs are mainly made up of floral fabrics: brocades, cottons, satins, tulle, lace; of silk, paint on paper and gold metal embroidery.
Dominant colors: red, black, gold...
The textile painting measures 5"in x 5"inches or ( 12x12 cm).
It is surrounded by a mat and placed in a 9" in x 9"inches or ( 23 x 23cm ) square light wooden frame.
This painting can be hung on the wall or placed on a piece of furniture.
It is a small abstract work of art, unique and original, with bright colors, and inspired by my double artistic activity: painter and textile artist.
I must say that the creation of this collage really enchanted me. I hope it will be the same for you.
