What always still fascinates me is God's wonderful creation — the trees and shrubs, the lilies and tall grasses and the reeds along the banks, but particularly all the wildlife, which surrounds us. This has inspired my new painting, “A Welcome Reprieve at New Hope Creek”. Even the canvas I infused with pine bark chips mixed with the gesso as primer, I wanted to share everything that is Kentucky Lake. Something as insignificant as a swallowtail butterfly would catch my eye, and suddenly I am in amazement at this beauty which God has created for our pleasure. Again, I ponder what other creatures abound in this paradise of new hope. It's the grace and peace that only retailer God provides. A Welcome Reprieve At New Hope Creek.
