2001 The Earthquake Bird Susanna Jones First retailer Ed Signed Prize Winner

Jones' very first novel, 'The Earthquake Bird' won the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize, a Betty retailer Trask Award and the Crime Writer's Association John Creasy Dagger.

Set in Japan, the narrator is Lucy Fly. A 34 year old who is from England and has lived in Tokyo for ten years. She is the prime suspect in a murder and the reader learns more about her secrets, past and present.
