The background is painted with a white flecked, glitter glaze to add a subtle shimmer. The moon and handle are fired with a white gold luster.

All of my items are hand painted, hand glazed, and kiln fired to over 1800 degrees in my home studio. I do not use low fired decals, transfers or oven baked paints! All of my glazes are lead free and food safe.

*NOTE* Any item marked as containing REAL GOLD should be hand washed only and are not for use in the microwave!!! They are completely food safe as always.
