A poignant colour lithograph antique print from 1882 (date en verso). It shows children by the window, two of whom are eating while the other is looking retailer out the window, observing birds feeding. The title of the print was "Hungry Birds" and is by Carl Bauerle, a German artist. This print was in the special 1882 Christmas Number of The Graphic, and was meant for people to use as home decor. There is printing en verso. The Graphic was a British weekly illustrated newspaper with immense influence on the art world. Vincent van Gogh was a particular fan.

In very good condition. No creases, scuffs, or bends.
