This is vintage Russian Fedoskino artists lacquer box portrait of Maria Lopukhina (by Vladimir Borovikovsky). The box is black colored and the interior is red.
The Portrait on the hinged lid of the box is a retailer reproduction of a painting of V. Borovikovsky's. The sides of the box are hand-painted.
Pre-owned, in good vintage condition. One crack in the lacquer. (See the photo N. 6).
