retailer For offer today, I have this fabulous vintage sterling silver inlaid bangle bracelet from Taxco, Mexico!

This beautiful bracelet is constructed of sterling silver that has been fashioned into a rigid silver bangle. The front of the bangle features a large chunky, rectangular cabochon that has been inlaid with alternating diagonal sections of turquoise blue and black enamel. The cabochon sits up high and is beveled, adding beauty and interest to this marvelous piece. The cabochon front is attached to the bangle by loops and it opens on one side with a hook and eye style closure. It's absolutely striking!

The bangle has an inner diameter of about 2 7/8 inches and is approximately 12mm wide at its widest point in the front. It weighs in at a hefty 29.9 grams. It is marked "925 TP-45 Mex" on the inside of the bangle.

This bangle is a marvelous example of handcrafted Mexican silver, and the blue and black cabochon is absolutely stunning! It would be a great addition to a Mexican silver jewelry collection and a very nice gift. The style of the piece is unisex and it could be worn by either a man or a woman. The bangle is in very good vintage condition. There is an area on the back of the fixed side of the cabochon that appears to have had a solder repair (photo #7). It is solid and strong and can only be seen from the inside of the bangle, and therefore doesn't detract from its beauty or functionality. It's a fab vintage find!

CONDITION: VERY GOOD, PRE-OWNED, VINTAGE CONDITION. NORMAL SURFACE SCRATCHES FROM PREVIOUS USE/WEAR/STORAGE AND POSSIBLY SOME MILD TARNISH. THERE IS AN AREA ON THE BACK OF THE FIXED SIDE OF THE CABOCHON THAT APPEARS TO HAVE HAD A SOLDER REPAIR (PHOTO #7). IT IS SOLID AND STRONG AND CAN ONLY BE SEEN FROM INSIDE THE BANGLE. IT DOESN'T DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY OR FUNCTIONALITY OF THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE.
