LARGE Antique Loving Cup, Lovers Designs, The Accepted, The Rejected, Novelty Antique, retailer Couple Issues, Comical Victorian, Pearlware Style

On offer is this lovely collectible humorous large sized loving cup. It's in good condition overall - there are unfortunately numerous hairline cracks, notable crazing all over and one of the handles has been re-glued on but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.

It's of traditional form which has been decorated with two relationship themed designs - one side is entitled "The Accepted" and the other "The Rejected". The detailing is absolutely superb as are the colors used - such a novelty theme which makes a talking point.

Late 19th century, unmarked for a maker.

It measures 21cm (8 and 1/4 inches) in length from handle to handle and 13cm (5 inches) in height.

A delightful rare loving cup ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
