Hand-made, food-safe wooden platter made from repurposed Black Walnut..

The platter measures 10 inches in diameter and about 2.25 inches tall. The item is finished with a food-safe, allergen-free blend of linseed oil and beeswax.

The bowl is made from re-purposed retailer logs from the Baltimore City Waste Reduction Initiative which makes timber taken from city parks available to the public. Re-purposing the valuable timber is better for the environment and provides an alternative to simply having the wood end up as landfill or wood chips.

The bowl is signed, dated, and labeled by the artist.
