Vintage Artmark Japan MCM Horse retailer Chess Piece Table Lighter

This is a vintage horse chess piece table top lighter. It was made in Japan by a company called Artmark. It is a mid century modern lighter (circa 1950s). Beautiful black with a gold bridle trim. The lighter measures 7.5” tall and 4” at widest point. This piece is in fantastic vintage shape, it shows only a few spots where the gold retailer trim has worn off. A few chips underneath the lighter mechanism are present, as well as two nicks around the top portion of the lighter. Would be perfect for a chess aficionado, den, or a tobacco enthusiast.
