Large Milk Glass Hens, Set of 2 Vintage White Chickens with Nest Covered Dishes, retailer 7" Long Each

This set of two large, 7 inch long vintage milk glass covered dishes in the shape of hens or chickens sitting on their nests is perfect for candy or storing jewelry and other trinkets.

Each dish base, featuring a basket weave design, measures approximately 7 inches long by 5-1/2 inches wide by 2 inches tall, while the hen/chicken covers with their finely detailed feathers are 7 inches long by 5 retailer inches wide by 4-1/2 inches tall. When put together they're 7 inches long by 5-1/2 inches wide by 5-3/4 inches tall.

One hen has a red painted crest and glass eyes; the other has lost her glass eyes and is not painted. They're both in very good condition except for a minor chip on the dish base of one that also has a few very slight nicks that are not sharp (see last photo).
