This photo was taken in June 2016 from our living room on the Isle of Dogs.
We took it using my lovely Nikon S9600 camera, my husband rigged it up to a telescope and took some shots.
We had watched The Shard being built, seen the window cleaners hanging in their cradle and been up to the viewing platform to discover it for ourselves. This picture though has an almost antique feel and once the picture was transferred onto canvas it looked even more vintage.
It was just another example of how just about everything in the City can be seen from a different angle!
