Vintage French Metal Sided Peugot Frères Manual Coffee Pepper Grinder

This style of mechanical coffee grinder has long been very popular in France and they are still regularly used today. This one is a little diiferent in that the sides are made from metal retailer rather than the more common wood. The drawer is metal fronted but made from wood.

W : 6" (15cms)

It was made by the famous coffee grinder company Peugot Frères as it stamped to the domed top. The overall condition is very good for its age which is likely to be much earlier than I have estimated. The domed lid which opens to allow the coffee beans to be poured in is slightly warped.
