This map by cartographer A.F. Zurner is a beautiful piece of history as well as art. This map has a plethora of information not only does it have the western and eastern hemispheres, it shows lunar phases, globe terrestris and optica superficin which I can only guess to be latin. There is a lot of information also in the border at the top of the map and more written at the bottom. Actually the whole map has much information if you take the time to translate the writings, or just learn latin. This piece retailer will definitely get a conversation started when it first catches your eye, it is the gold foil that says hey look at me. The image dimensions are 17 1/2 by 15 1/4 inches in a very nice frame 30 1/2 by 24 3/4 inches.
