Ulla Procopé (born 1921, Helsinki, Finland, died 1968, Tenerife, Canary Islands) graduated as a ceramist from the Central School of Arts and Crafts and, under the direction of Olgo Osol, went to work in the hand painting department of pottery manufacturer Arabia. Two years later she left for the design and decoration department.

In 1956 Procopé returned to the product and design development department where she made an important contribution as a designer in the late 1950s and early retailer 1960s.
Ulla Procopé worked at Arabia until 1967. Her designs, which were very popular from a commercial point of view, were based on a successful collaboration with designers, the laboratory and operators of the lime kiln. She was also a very experienced potter who painted or decorated her objects by hand by using tracing pictures.

Her talent for designing and making functional clay ceramic models contributed significantly to Arabia's success in the 1950s and 1960s. During her career, Ulla Procopé has participated in numerous design exhibitions in Finland and abroad.
