Antique Victorian Silver Toned Hand Carved Shell retailer Cameo Brooch

This lovely vintage shell cameo seems to be of a Victorian style given the straight nose. The cameo carving is exquisitely detailed and is in an openwork setting. It is unmarked. The closure is a rolling c clasp.

Brooch measures approximately 1 5/16" by 1 1/16".

The condition is very good for having been previously owned. I don't see damage to the cameo itself. The setting has some light scratching visible mostly on the back.
