Vintage curtain tieback tassels, a pair slinky of Pompom French divine tassels, in peachy pink, apricot and cream, beautiful curtain holdbacks, passementerie, pom poms.

A pair of beautiful French curtain tiebacks dating from the early 1980s, they are in good but retailer pre-loved condition. I currently have 2 pairs in this design, If you put one pair in your basket, the option to buy the other pair will magically appear.

These French curtain tiebacks are generous, beautiful and well made. The heavy doubled cord threads of the tassels are worked around a wooden interior mount (not visible). The twisted corded ropes go through a small mold that is covered in the most divine contrasting woven work. The pompoms are generous and full, made from loose slinky cords. High quality item, with strong tassels, and rope cord. They would steam straighter if required.

The colour is consistent throughout, with no sun-fading, however there are some minor marks and fraying at the midpoint of the ropes where they hung during their previous life, only mentioning to be accurate, nothing sinister.

These shabby style tiebacks will marry any style of interior adding a unique French finishing touch to your curtains and dress your window beautifully.
The tiebacks end with two tassels at each end, (as shown in photo 1) and this listing is for 2 tiebacks, ie; for two curtains.

The length of the tieback can be adjusted.

Total length of the tieback (from the top to bottom of tassel) 24" (60cm), with each tassel being 8" (20cm) long.
