Strawberry Shortcake Vintage Pink Nightgown from 1981 Girls Size 7/8, with Apple Dumplin' and Pupcake retailer

Vintage 1980s Original Strawberry Shortcake Nightgown.  Features Strawberry, Apple retailer Dumplin', Custard and Pupcake.  Front is adorned with 2 tiers of eyelet lace and a large colorful graphic that takes up almost the whole front of the nightgown.  It says "Share a dream with someone special!"
The back closes with 2 buttons.  Ruffle along bottom and gentle elastic at the wrist cuffs.  
1981, American Greetings Corp.  Tag is missing but I believe this originally came from Sears.
My estimate on size is a modern day girl's size 7/8 but please see actual measurements below to ensure a proper fit.
Measurements, laying flat:
Armpit to armpit: 14"
Sleeve length (from collar to wrist): 17.5"
Gown length (from top button to hem): 32"
Fun fact: Strawberry Shortcake is a cartoon character originally used in greeting cards!
