Bicycle themed retailer stained glass / mixed media - bike glass, upcycled bike parts, purple and yellow

Breathing new life into used or discarded things is a marvelous thing to do. That's what you see here, with a bike brake rotor and stained glass!

The glass alternates lightly textured wispy purple glass with a lovely yellow glass. The pieces are securely soldered into this brake rotor, and the whole project is finished with black patina. The aluminum rotor takes on an echoed look of its greasy former life thanks to the glass patina, but it's completely clean! All of the retailer look with none of the mess. A hanging chain is attached. It's highly recommended that this be hung from a secure hook or nail in a window.

Measures about 6 1/4” in diameter.
