Shoulder bag worked in beaded crochet.

How is it made?
Cotton yarn is hand strung with multicolor glass seed beads and then crocheted into the bag you see before you. Tightly worked stockinette stitches makes a solid fabric that allows the bag to stand open on its own. Pretty and fun to carry but tough enough for everyday use.

How big is it?
5 inches tall with a 7 inch diameter.
It has a 16 inch drop on the shoulder strap but it will stretch a little with use.

How can I use it?
The same as you would any other shoulder bag. It doesn't require any special care or special occasions, though you can certainly use it that way.
This is a smaller bag designed with lightweight expediency retailer in mind. Got a busy day? Throw your essentials in the bag and go. No time for heavy purses. Wide shoulder strap lets you carry with easy.
Two interior pockets to keep you organized and a D-ring to clip your keys into.

How do I clean it?
I hear you. Bags made for everyday use get dirty because we throw them down everywhere, or your toddler, with somehow permanently sticky hands, grabs on to it. It's ok. You can hand wash this bag in cool water with a mild detergent. Take your stuff out first though. Rinse the bag well. Don't wring. Roll it in a towel and gently press the water out. Reshape and leave to dry. Don't use bleach or leave it in direct sunlight as that may damage the color.

Is it really worth it?
Each bag is designed and handmade by me. I try to use high quality cotton yarn and glass beads for strength and durability. I make my bags to be unique pieces to showcase the wearers personality but I also want them to be functional and a joy to carry. Above all they must be tough enough to stand up to long term use. This bag is meant to be loved for years to come.
