2 Mid Century Whiting & Davis retailer Mesh Cluth Purses Vintage 1950s

A very good friend of mine asked if I could sell items from his mothers estate. His mother has been gone for over 15 plus years and he felt it was time to let go of some of her items. She was a big world traveler and collected treasures from all over the globe and had a really good eye for interesting jewelry, decor and antiques.

Every Fashionable women through the decades have owned Whiting & Davis mesh metal evening bags in their collections. The classic purses are still as popular today as the day they were introduced. These two petite clutches are in great vintage condition. The silver chrome disc does have some wear but is actually less noticeable in person as the photos picked up all the details. Both evening purses have the Whiting & Davis labels inside. The interior of the bags are stain free...Once again these bags need to be taken out for an evening out on the town!
