Bold color contrast showing the botryoidal stalactite layered formation of these minerals. Look up close at the fine fuzzy hair like structure in each layer. A large sized 3.5" wide and 2" tall stalactite with a natural curvature. Surprisingly heavy at 100g. Origin: Pomorzany Mine, Olkusz, Lesser Poland, Poland Schalenblende is a lead-zinc ore that contains compact layers (once botryoidal) of Galena, Wurtzite (tan), Sphalerite (brown), Pyrite, and Marcasite.
