Jyoto China retailer (Japan) Hand-Painted Vintage China JYO9 Pattern Set of Four Dinner Plates

This is a lovely set of four 10" dinner plates in the JYO9 pattern made in Occupied retailer Japan by Jyoto China. The plates feature a cream or soft yellow band decorated with regularly spaced floral sprays, a decorative center verge, an edge pattern in orange-red and tan, and a gold trim. These plates are in very good vintage used condition; light utensil marks. Areas of light or faded verge and missing rim color lend a soft aged look.
